MALINSKY Jaroslav (12. 5. 1897 Prague - 1978) Old Town Townhall Oil on canvas, 55,5 x 90 cm, framed, dated 1937, signed lower right. Czech genre, still-life and landscape painter, he studied under V. Nechleba and V. Hynais at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, he travelled widely around Italy and Jugoslavia, after his stay in Paris his work became stamped with the influence of French painting.
