Description: 14th-15th century AD. A substantial D-section silver hoop with three radiating bosses, octagonal-section expanding bezel; niello field with reserved palmettes to the hoop, crosses to the lateral bosses, starburst to the lower boss; two bands of niello herringbone detail with separating line; plaque with niello border, panel with lion rampant regardant, punched texture to the body, limbs and tail, facial features.
