This MG B GT, from the last Chrome Model Series, was driven by its owner from England to Germany two years ago. Since then it has been in regular use, until it was thoroughly refurbished recently. An exchange engine was built in. The MG also features an additional fan and a Webasto folding rooftop. It has to be mentioned that the central locking wheel rims have no permit.

The MGB GT is the favorite coupé of the Beatles and Rolling Stones generation, because artists, musicians, designers, architects and other freelancers can easily fit all their instruments and other things into this “Jaguar-E-Type for everybody“ and still travel elegant, fast and economic. The Italian Michelotti designed the timelessly elegant shape of the roadster, which supposedly was remodeled to a coupé by Pininfarina. Between 1974 and 1980 an exact number of 27,045 models of the normal MGB GT Mk II were made.
