Description

Portrait of a Woman Holding a Book pastel on paper 261/2x221/2in. NOTES Micah Williams worked principally as a pastellist in central New Jersey area between 1790 and 1832. Working briefly in New York City from 1829-1833, the majority of Williams' sitters appear to have come from Monmouth County, New Jersey.
