Description

The gold Patek Philippe Beta 21 has a somewhat unusual origin story dating back to 1969 and the onset of what is now known as the Quartz Crisis. As the story goes, Patek Philippe and several other major Swiss brands came together to develop and produce a reliable quartz movement to compete with the quartz watches that were taking the market by storm from overseas. The result was the Beta 21, a thick quartz movement that was accurate to 5 seconds per month. 6,000 movements were shared between the collaborative Swiss brands, of which less than 100 were used to create the yellow gold integrated bracelet Patek ref. 3587.The Beta 21 was Patek's first quartz wristwatch. It features a thick case made in-house to accommodate the movement, a mesh-style bracelet dubbed by some as Swiss Cheese, and a blue Sigma dial with gold elements to match the rest of the watch. Terms and Conditions

Buyers must accept the following Terms & Conditions to participate in Robinhood auctions live auctions. By signing up as a bidder, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Terms & Conditions and agree to abide by them.

Total Sales Price

The total sales price of an item includes the hammer price plus a 23% buyer's premium. Framing for unframed artwork, packing, shipping, and insurance is extra.

Payment

Robinhood Auctions Team will contact the Buyer within three (3) days of the completion of the auction. Complete payment is due upon receipt of notification of a successful bid and must be done by the Buyer no later than 7 days after an invoice is received. The title shall pass to the Buyer once payment in full has been made. All shipping charges will be borne by the Buyer. Any item that has not been paid within 7 days after the receipt of the notification may be put back on the auction block for sale. Any buyer that does not make payment will automatically be blocked from future auctions and will be filed with a dispute. Please note, the credit card on your profile ma be auto-charged for this invoice after 4 days of sending an invoice. Please update your card on your profile, make a payment, or contact us if you would like to use a different form of payment. Invoices over $3,000 must be paid via ACH or wire.

The winning bidder will pay all applicable taxes. International buyers are responsible for import duties and VAT if applicable.

All lots are sold as-is and as pictured with all flaws. Bidders should contact us for condition reports.

If an item is received materially different from the auction listing and/or are damaged upon delivery, it qualifies for return or exchange on us. Prior to returning an item, the customer must obtain a Return Authorization from one of our representatives.

All items ship fully insured. To expedite your return, please keep all packing materials and proof of damage of the item and exterior packaging.

Right to refuse sale

We reserve the right to refuse any sale due to unforeseen circumstances including, but not limited to: damage to an item, out of the stock listing, misrepresented item, withdrawn consignment, or other such issues. In the event of a refused sale for which payment has already been received, a full refund will be issued equal to the purchase price of the given piece.
