Item Overview

Description

Paul-Emile PISSARRO (1884-1972) - Neige de Clercy - Oil on canvas signed lower right - Titled on the back - 46 x 55 cm Note: Paul-Émile Pissarro, youngest son of Camille Pissarro, inherited the Impressionist tradition while developing his own style, marked by a soft palette and particular attention to variations in light. Specializing in rural landscapes and scenes of daily life, he captured the serenity of the French countryside with a subtle, poetic touch. His works, exhibited in prestigious galleries and collections, continue to seduce Impressionist art lovers around the world. This work illustrates Paul-Émile Pissarro's talent for capturing winter atmospheres with a delicate, luminous palette. The balanced composition and treatment of snow effects bear witness to his family's Impressionist heritage, while affirming the artist's own sensibility.

Its registered office is located at 75 Boulevard Haussmann, Paris 8th.

Auctions organized by Expertisez SAS are broadcast live online. The winning bidder will be the highest and last bidder.

Auctions are conducted in euros, even when relayed through foreign platforms using a different currency.

The artworks are displayed on the Expertisez, Enchérissez, and Drouot.com websites, where the auction dates and times are provided.

The days prior to the auction during which the artworks can be viewed, exclusively by appointment, will also be indicated.

Buyers are encouraged to inspect the lots they are interested in before bidding to evaluate their condition. Dimensions are provided for guidance only, and frame conditions are not guaranteed. No claims will be accepted concerning any remarks, additions, or changes made before the lot's presentation.

We are available to provide condition reports for described lots upon request. High-definition photographs, sent upon request, allow potential buyers to assess the condition of the artworks. Buyers are responsible for inspecting each lot to ensure their condition.

Lots marked with an asterisk (*) are sold by a member of the auction company, the company itself, or one of its experts, in accordance with Article L 321-5 II of the French Commercial Code. Pursuant to Article L. 321-17 of the French Commercial Code, liability claims against the O.V.V. expire five years from the appraisal or public auction sale.

Jewelry:
Precious and semi-precious stones may have undergone treatments to enhance their appearance, such as oiling emeralds, heat-treating rubies and sapphires, or bleaching pearls. These treatments are traditional and accepted in the international jewelry market. Due to the emergence of new treatments, stones without certificates are sold without any guarantee regarding potential treatments. The origin and quality (color and clarity of diamonds) reflect the opinion of the certifying laboratory. No claims will be accepted if another laboratory expresses a different opinion, and this will not engage the responsibility of the auction house or the expert.

Responsibility for assessing these aspects lies with the potential buyer. The auctioneer and the expert cannot be held liable for any omissions, despite precautions taken. The absence of specific indications does not imply that a watch is free from defects. No guarantees are made regarding the condition of watches or bracelets. Maintenance, adjustments, and waterproofing are the buyer's responsibility. No claims will be accepted once the hammer has fallen.

Bidding Conditions:
Bids are accepted subject to the presentation of sufficient financial guarantees before the auction.
