This piece captures a quiet moment in the corner of the artist's kitchen during the early morning hours. On a gray day, soft, diffused light filters through the window, creating an atmosphere that feels both intimate and tranquil. The predominant color throughout the piece is gray in its many shades, inspired by the light and hues that fill the kitchen in Dublin—a light so different from the bright, warm tones the artist knew growing up in Valencia. The scene is intentionally sparse, focusing on the simplicity of the space. There are no objects to provide context or narrative, apart from two small plants that introduce a sense of life and contrast, while still preserving the stillness of the environment. The absence of identifiable elements adds to the space, giving it an almost sacred solitude in the moment.
