Petr Ivanovich Kotov (1889-1953, Russian) oil on canvas interior scene portrait painting of a fisherman seated with his net overflowing with his catch of fish, scene is illuminated by the glow of fire to the fisherman’s left. An excellent quality painting in excellent condition, no touchups or inpainting; Cyrillic signature lower right “P. Kotov”. Canvas measures 42 in. high x 24.5 in. wide. Frame: 49 in. high x 32 in. wide. Weight: 17 lbs.
