Polyphone style No. 63, walnut grandmother sized case with carved crests and 5 turned finials on the bonnet top, has corbeled sides and turned columns; the base has a single door with carved panel, pilaster sides, carved corbels at the shoulder and open bottom with turned finials. 7 in. silvered metal dial with black painted hour numbers, gilt brass center, brass bezel and pierced decorated hands; brass square plate spring driven movement signed "Lenzkirch, 1 Million, 27457", has a half hour strike on a coiled gong. Spring driven music box mechanism is contained behind the lower door, plays 11.25 in. discs on a single comb; mechanism is 1 cent coin operated (large pennies) and plays on the hour, has on off switch on the side of the case. In very good overall condition with an enhanced original finish, has coin box, brass coin slot and plaque reading "einwurf pfennig" (throw in penny), clock runs and strikes, music box plays. 25 discs, has door key and crank, missing pendulum. 79.5 in. high x 21 in. wide x 12.75 in. deep.
