The piece will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, along with a letter of provenance dated 1999 from the original owner of the piece, who states that her mother-in-law worked as a set decorator for Warner Bros. Studios and gave her the piece as a gift. Prince (1958-2016) was an American singer, songwriter, record producer, multi-instrumentalist, actor, and director. He was known for his electric work, flamboyant stage presence, extravagant dress and makeup, and wide vocal range.
