Robert A Carruthers b.1925- Abstract; mixed media and plaster relief on board, signed and dated Oct 1960, 53.5x100cm. Note: The artist studied and taught at the Royal College of Art, exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1951 and 1955; in 1972 The Peter Stuyvesant Foundation and The Arts Council commissioned the artist's large public relief construction at Colmore Circus, Birmingham, since relocated to ell Barn Road.
