The artist painted two similar versions of this subject, both signed: one in the collection of Graf von Schönborn, Pommersfelden; the other in the Kulturgeschichtes Museum, Osnabrück (see Roelandt Savery in Seiner Zeit 1576-1639, exhibition catalogue, Cologne, Wallraf-Richartz Museum, 28th September 24th November, 1985, cat. nos. 24 and 50.
