Bereaved by Schulz's death in February 2000, Everhart created this special piece, released in October 2000 - the 50th Anniversary of the first publication of the "Peanuts" comic strip. "Salute" is limited to only 9,500 examples, plus 100 artist proofs, lithograph printed on acid free, archival quality enameled paper and plate-signed by Tom Everhart. Measures approx. 25" x 33" (with border); 22" x 29.5" (image), with Certificate of Authenticity. All plates used to create this image have been destroyed. Reference #: 244758
