on paper titled "Bull and Bears on Wall Street at Night". Charles Samuel Addams lived from 1912-1988 and was signed on with the "New Yorker" as a regular cartoonist in 1935. Some of his most popular characters were spun off into the popular television series the "Addams Family". Exhibitions of his work have been mounted at the Fogg Art Museum in Cambridge, Massachusetts, The Rhode Island School of Design, and the Museum of the City of New York.
