BIOGRAPHY: Sophie BUSSON painter draftsman illustrator lithographer and engraver born in France in 1945. Sophie likes to introduce symbols the myth of knowledge fantasies or dreams in her art. Her characters are out of time often dressed in draperies in mythical universes and they lead into a totally fascinating and captivating journey. Her works reveal beauty eroticism related to the themes of her paintings engravings and drawings whose subject is often the woman: that of ancient myths or that of a moment of gesture or a look. The attraction exercised by Sophie Bussons work is also due to the perfection of her drawing to the mastery she has of the different techniques she uses especially engraving. Sophie currently lives and works in Brittany France.
