Description

Original commemorative block sheet of nine stamps for The State Russian Museum in Saint Petersburg, the world's largest depository of Russian fine art and one of the largest art museums in the world. Dedicated to 100 years anniversary of the museum founded in 1898. Features the icon rom the beginning of the 16th century depicting Boris and Gleb the first saints canonized in Kievan Rus' after the Christianization of the country. Cancelled with stamp with inscription Russia Premier Jour Saint Petersburg Post Office. Country:Russia, year of printing: 1997, designer: Unknown, dimensions (cm): 18x14.
