Description

c. 1880s Cabinet card depicting “JoJo, The Russian Dog-Faced Boy.” Taken by Eisenman in New York. Jojo’s real name was Fedor Adrianovich Jeftichew, he was born in Russia and brought to the United States in the 1880s by PT Barnum to perform as as sideshow act with Barnum’s traveling circus.
