All items are sold "as is". The auction house does not warranty authenticity on any specific piece. We can only offer our opinion and the material facts about the item. It is up to the buyer to determine authenticity before bidding and purchasing an item. If we state facts about jewelry such as gold content or weight, it is sold as fact. Carat weights and quality are approximate and to the best of our knowledge and may vary by appraiser. Measurements are in inches and are approximates but within reasonable margins. If we note restoration, repair, damage, or defect to a piece in the catalog, look it over for yourself and bid accordingly. We try to picture damage in the online listings. Please ask for additional condition reports about specific concerns or additional images of any damage you are unsure of. If there is a problem concerning condition the buyer must notify us immediately and return the item at their expense within 10 days. After the 10 day period, all items are considered to have been sold "as is, where is". This 10-day policy applies to online purchases. In the case of the item being shipped by Uniques & Antiques: If the item is damaged in transit or has another undisclosed condition issue purchaser is required to notify Uniques & Antiques immediately upon receipt of the shipped item. Acceptable notice is email, phone or fax. We will then arrange for return or insurance claim. Buyer agrees to cooperate fully in filing any insurance claim.

RESTRICTED ITEMS: It is the buyer's responsibility to abide by their local laws, including not bidding on or buying items that are restricted in their local area. We will not release a buyer from purchasing an item restricted in their area and disputes will be filed for non-paying bidders.

Online bidders must have a credit card on file with the prevailing online auction service. The highest bidder shall be the buyer and if any dispute arises between two or more bidders, the auctioneer shall decide the buyer or immediately put the item up for sale again. Some lots are offered subject to reserve, which is a confidential minimum price below which such a lot will not be sold. The record of sale, kept by the auctioneer and clerk, will be taken as absolute and final in all disputes. There can be an occurrence where the internet clerk erroneously awards an item to an online bidder which was not recognized by the live auctioneer. In these cases, we reserve the right to cancel any particular item from a buyer's invoice. Remaining purchased items still are required to be paid.

All items must be paid for within 7 days of the auction. After 7 days we will file a dispute against the buyer and Invaluable/AuctionZip bidding may be disrupted. We will not remove a dispute until the item is paid in full.

If an item includes a shipping charge in the description, we will ship this item in house for that rate to the USA only. Insurance at a rate of $1 per hundred in value will be added.
REMOVAL and STORAGE FEES: Items purchased may be removed once payment is made. Items are shipped within 7 days of receiving payment or clearance of check payment. Item must be removed from our premises within 3 weeks of the auction. After 3 weeks, $5 per day per lot storage charges are assessed. Items will not be released until the storage charges are paid. Items left 60 days after the auction will be resold at auction with no reserve to satisfy the storage fees. Proceeds may be paid to the buyer if any after 25% commission and storage charges are deducted.

Items that are to be shipped will be subject to shipping and insurance charges. (See our shipping policy) These charges include insurance for the full purchase price, Packing, supplies and postage. Some items have fixed US shipping charges. Other items have variable charges depending on their bulk, and distance of travel. International shipping is expensive, please inquire about specific charges before bidding.
Items shipped by outside shippers must be picked up within 14 days. Items left over 30 days will be resold, we will pay buyer proceeds minus 25% selling commission. Items left over 21 days incur a $5 per day storage and handling charge. Items will not be released until these storage fees are paid. Items still at our facility will be sold for storage 12 weeks following the auction.

A buyer's premium of 24% of the hammer price shall be added to each purchase to reach the total sales price. The total sales price is subject to applicable sales tax. Complete payment is required in cash(In House Only), acceptable check, Visa/Mastercard, or selected online payments (Paypal). In the case of online auction purchases, payment must be received within 7 business days. It is recommended that you use Overnight trackable method to make your payment.

We collect PA sales tax of 6% on all purchases (Hammer price plus Buyer's Premium). We will waive the collection of the sales tax when the buyer provides a valid Sales tax resale number and fills out a PA resale tax exemption form. Items that are shipped out of PA have no sales tax collected. Items picked up by common carriers, using a Bill of Lading will not be required to pay sales tax.
