Tom FEELINGS (1933 - 2003). Black Man in a White Box. Tall wooden sculpture of an enslaved African in chains, surrounded by rocks, and housed in a wooden frame with crossbars (720 x 400 mm). Some rocks have become detached but present. featured in the touring exhibition of the middle passage.
