Two Framed Works:

Katherine Seeler (American, 20th Century), Cat Playing, signed and dated "K SEELER 57" l.r., identified on a label affixed to the reverse, oil on canvasboard, 18 1/4 x 15 1/4 in.; and Robert D. Kaufmann (American, 1913-1959), Players, signed and dated "Kaufmann 57" l.l., identified on a label from the Hood Museum of Art on the frame backing, watercolor on paper, sight size 22 3/4 x 17 in. Condition: Cat with surface grime, Players with subtle rippling, not examined out of frames.

Provenance: Sold to benefit the acquisition fund of the Hood Museum of Art, Dartmouth College, Hanover, New Hampshire.
