TERMS:
When registering to bid or submitting a bidder registration form, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not understand or agree to these terms, do not register to bid. Placing a bid constitutes acceptance of the Terms of Sale and creates a binding obligation to purchase the lot if you are the successful bidder.
BIDDING:
It is the bidder's responsibility to determine the condition and authenticity of each item.
By bidding, you acknowledge that you have either closely examined the item, chosen not to examine it, or arranged for an independent agent to examine it on your behalf.
All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS. Buyers are encouraged to form their own opinions regarding the condition, age, authenticity, and value of each item. Descriptions, photographs, measurements, condition statements, dates, attributions, and other information provided by Zevantiques are offered as a courtesy and represent our opinion. They should not be treated as guarantees or statements of fact.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO RETURNS, REFUNDS, OR EXCHANGES.
The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser. Once a lot is announced as sold, the successful bidder has purchased the lot. All sales are binding and final.
Zevantiques reserves the right to cancel or nullify the sale of any lot sold through auction.
Bidders may participate in person or, if registered and approved by Zevantiques, by absentee bid, telephone, or an approved Internet bidding platform.
Written and telephone bids left before the auction may be opened by the auctioneer up to two bidding increments below the maximum amount authorized by the bidder.
Zevantiques is not responsible for failure to execute absentee or telephone bids or for Internet, software, platform, or other electronic failures.
The auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid or bidder. A lot will be sold to the highest bidder as determined by the auctioneer. The auctioneer will determine bidding increments and has sole authority to resolve bidding disputes.
Photographs and descriptions are provided online, and prospective bidders are encouraged to review each lot carefully and contact Zevantiques with any questions before bidding.
Consignors and their agents may not bid on their own property except where permitted by the auctioneer and applicable law.
High and low estimates appearing in the catalog are provided for guidance only. Estimates may be preliminary or placeholder figures and should not be considered guarantees of value or expected selling price.
ABSENTEE BIDDING:
Absentee bidding is available to bidders who cannot attend the auction in person. Absentee bids may be submitted by email, through an approved bidding platform, or by telephone.
Absentee bidders agree to all Terms and Conditions. Zevantiques cannot guarantee the execution of absentee bids.
Shipping Terms
SHIPPING:
All orders are packed and shipped by Zevantiques' in-house shipping department unless the buyer chooses local pickup or approved buyer-arranged shipping. Shipping and packing costs will be included on the invoice. In some cases, shipping may be calculated and invoiced separately from the auction purchase invoice.
Please allow up to 10 business days after receipt of cleared payment for purchases to be packed and shipped. Once shipped, tracking information will be sent to the buyer by email.
Domestic shipments may be sent by USPS, FedEx, or UPS. Domestic shipments include insurance, tracking, and signature delivery confirmation.
International shipments may be sent by FedEx, UPS, or another appropriate carrier depending on the destination and item.
Certain items cannot be shipped outside of the United States due to export restrictions or the laws of the destination country. Buyers are responsible for checking their country's laws and regulations before participating in the auction.
Zevantiques assumes no responsibility for loss or damage occurring during shipment. Shipping damage or loss claims must be processed through the applicable shipping carrier or insurance provider. Claims must be reported within 7 days of receiving the shipment.
BUYER-ARRANGED SHIPPING:
Buyers may arrange their own shipping with approval from Zevantiques. If you wish to arrange your own shipping, please notify us immediately after winning.
The cost of packing or preparation required for buyer-arranged shipping may be charged separately.
Exceptionally large or difficult-to-ship items, such as large decorative objects, suits of armor, oversized displays, or similar property, may require the buyer to arrange third-party shipping. This does not normally apply to standard-sized auction items such as swords or similar property.

All lots will be shipped within 10 business days after payment has cleared. Items designated for pickup by the buyer or the buyer's agent must be collected within 30 business days following the purchase.
Items not picked up within 30 business days will be placed in storage at a fee of $10.00 per item, per day.
Payment
PAYMENT:
An invoice will be emailed to you after completion of the auction. Buyers are responsible for payment in full, including the hammer price, buyer's premium, applicable taxes, shipping, and any applicable payment processing fees.
Payment may be made directly from the invoice using the available payment methods, or by contacting Zevantiques at 786-212-7585.
Credit and debit card payments are processed through a third-party payment processor. Zevantiques does not have access to your complete card information. Credit card payments are subject to a processing fee.
If payment has not been made within 2 days after the invoice is sent, the payment method associated with your Invaluable registration may be charged for the outstanding invoice amount where permitted through the platform.
For invoices over $2,000 USD, available payment methods may be limited. Buyers within the United States may pay by wire transfer, Zelle, check, or other payment methods approved by Zevantiques. Credit card payments on invoices over $2,000 are subject to approval by Zevantiques.
Buyers outside of the United States or Canada will often be required to pay by wire transfer, especially for invoices over $2,000 USD.

Items may be inspected in person during published inspection hours or by appointment. Zevantiques will also assist by telephone or email and may provide additional photographs, physical descriptions, or our opinion regarding condition when requested.
