Roland Auction NY is honored to present the estate of Charles P. Lamb, outsider artist, sculptor, inventor, actor, and collector.
This auction will be conducted in two sessions on Saturday June 14th. Beginning at 10am EST, we will present the collection of Mr. Lamb; a lifetime of treasures including Orientalia, Antiquities from across India and East Asia, fine European and American antiques and Modern furniture. The collection also features an exceptional set of monolithic 16th/17th Century church doors, affixed to the workshop of Mr. Lamb, and the contents of his workshop, including materials, tools, and furniture.
At 2pm, we will auction Charles Lamb's original work. Mr. Lamb's sculptures and paintings represent the work of a skilled master sculptor, especially in regard to manipulation of metals and carving. Highlights of this collection include an immense dragon, and a large, masterful chess set.
We hope you can join us as we celebrate Mr. Lamb as a collector and creator.
NOTE: As always at Roland NY, our catalogues are updated daily, so check back often for additional items, updated descriptions, photos, and condition reports.
