Payment

Accepted Forms of Payment: Discover, MasterCard, Money Order / Cashiers Check, Personal Check, Visa, Wire Transfer

Payment is due within 10 days of auction sale date. Nest Egg Auctions accepts payment by cash, check, wire transfer, and all forms of credit cards. The fastest method of payment is by credit card through our online payment portal. Invoices are sent by e-mail within two business days after the auction. For your convenience, shipping quotes can be included upon request. If you are waiting for a shipping quote, please wait until you receive an updated invoice before making your payment. Please note that first time checks require clearance prior to the release of merchandise. Additionally, high value precious metals, coins, and diamond purchases may require additional clearance time regardless of payment method. We can no longer accept payment by credit card over the phone. Please note that large international transactions must be paid by wire transfer.

Shipping

For your convenience, the shipping & handling charge for your item/items can be included on your post-auction invoice, and Nest Egg Auctions can handle the payment quickly and easily so that you only have to make one payment. You are strongly advised to obtain a shipping quote prior to placing any bids. Please call 203-630-1400 extension 306, or e-mail shipping@nestegauctions. Please note that shipping quotes may take up to two business days, and we may not be able to provide quotes in the 24 hours prior to the auction start.
Nest Egg Auctions utilizes a third party shipper, AIT Shipping, that is located in our building. AIT's shipping and handling service includes quality packing materials, the use of strong double wall boxes and a double box packaging method. Your items will be carefully packaged and handled by shipping professionals. Packages are only shipped with full insurance based on the final selling price and include shipment tracking. AIT Shipping has a $20 minimum handling fee for packaging any item regardless of size. The handling fee will vary for each shipment based on total weight, size and overall dimensions. AIT Shipping does not charge a pick-up fee for any items and does not increase the actual shipping charge by any means. AIT is only charging a handling fee to package the item, and the actual shipping charge which includes insurance. Packing and shipping charges are not negotiable after the auction. You are not required to use AIT's shipping service, however, we believe that the quality of their service is well worth the price. If your item will be picked up by outside courier or alternate shipper, please let us know. Our normal business hours are 12-5 Monday through Friday. Nest Egg Auctions does not offer storage and all winning items must be removed, shipped or delivered within 14 days of auction date. Any lots that left longer than 14 days may be forfeit unless prior arrangements are made in writing.
