Charles Daly Shotguns
Shotgun Categories
Charles Daly partnered with August Shoverling in 1875 with a particular idea in mind: to import well made, affordable firearms from foreign countries. Many of these firearms were shotguns, which were easy for foreign sources to produce.
Daly and Shoverling branded the firearms with the Charles Daly brand, which gave American consumers the confidence attached to an American name. The Charles Daly brand became popular enough to be used on American-produced shotguns from little-known manufacturers like Lefever Arms Company.
As times changed, the Charles Daly brand stayed the same. The brand itself has traded hands several times, but the name is still attached to imported weapons. The Charles Daly brand is now attached to several dozen different shotgun models, which includes tactical pump actions, field pump actions, and over-and-under shotguns. Many shotguns imported with the Charles Daly brand are well-made firearms from Turkey.
