Hammersley China

With a history of producing high quality, ornately decorated bone china, Hammersley is a respected china manufacturer among collectors. The company was founded in 1862 and underwent several name changes through its existence. In 1966, Carborundum Ltd. purchased Hammersley and merged with Royal Worcester Spode Ltd. in 1976. In 1982, Hammersley production ceased when the company was taken over by Palissy Pottery Ltd.
