Remington Semi Automatic Shotguns
Shotgun Categories
Remington may be known for their pump-action shotguns, but their semi-auto lines have carved out their own place as American legends. The Remington 11 and later, the 11-48, were successful designs that led to the Remington 1100. The Remington 1100 combined a low recoiling reliable gas-operated system that was lightweight and easy to point. The Remington 1100 quickly became a favorite among skeet shooters.
Remington continued to produce semi-automatic shotguns that include the more versatile Remington 11-87 and the V3 and Versa Max shotguns. They also produced their classic shotguns and adapted several of them into tactical models that have been adopted by numerous military and police forces worldwide.
The majority of Remington shotguns are designed for sporting purposes and are popular for hunting everything from deer to quail. The Remington series of semi-automatic shotguns have continually evolved to become better shotguns.
